Who Wins
- You win most trades pre-6 through superior range and burst potential with Q-W-auto combos, but must respect Aatrox's sustain from E passive.
- Post-6 becomes more dangerous as Aatrox gains significant kill pressure, but your R can still win fights if you position properly and avoid his W chains.
How to Trade
- Harass with Q when he goes for CS, then follow up with W-auto if he tries to engage, using E to create distance before he can land Q sweet spots.
- If he commits with E-Q combo, use your E to reposition and look for R opportunities when he's overextended.
Wave Control
- Maintain distance and use your range advantage to freeze waves near your tower, forcing Aatrox to overextend for farm.
- When ahead, you can push and roam, but be careful of his sustain allowing him to recover from poke damage.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't get caught by W chains when trading, as this sets up his entire combo and negates your mobility advantage.
