Who Wins
- You lose early trades pre-6 due to Kennen's range advantage and ability to proc Electrocute with Q-W-auto combos while staying outside your Q range.
- Post-6 you gain kill pressure if you can land W to set up your combo, but Kennen's R can still turn fights around with proper positioning.
How to Trade
- Look for trades when Kennen uses Q on minions or steps forward to auto-attack, using E to close distance and land Q1 sweet spot followed by W.
- If he tries to kite back, use your remaining Q charges with E to chase, but disengage if he gets multiple passive stacks on you.
Wave Control
- Push early waves to deny Kennen farm and force him to use abilities on minions rather than harass.
- Once you have sustain from E passive, you can afford to trade health for better positioning and look for all-ins when the wave is in a favorable state.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste E charges trying to gap-close when Kennen has his full combo available, as he can easily disengage and chunk you.
- Avoid fighting in large minion waves where his R can hit both you and minions for maximum damage and passive stacks.
