LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Annie wins the 1v1 decisively — her range, burst combo, and stun from passive stacks let her punish every Q approach you attempt, and you have no reliable gap-close that avoids her damage window.
- Post-6 in Shadow Assassin form you can all-in her if you enter from an unexpected angle with R, but Darkin form gives you sustain to outlast her if you absorb her combo and fight back through W healing.
How to Trade
- Your best trade pattern is to wait for Annie to spend her passive stacks on a minion or misuse her Q, then immediately dash through minions with Q to proc W and sustain back any poke damage before she can re-stack her stun.
- Never trade when she is sitting on 4 stacks — her full combo will delete you before your W healing matters.
Wave Control
- Push the wave fast with Q bouncing through minions to deny Annie free poke while you're last-hitting, because standing in a slow-push wave gives her repeated opportunities to stack her passive and threaten a stun combo on you.
- Once you shove, back off or roam — you gain more from side lanes and jungle skirmishes than from sitting in a losing lane matchup.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use R as an escape tool when Annie has her stun ready — she can flash-stun you mid-R animation or immediately after you land, leaving you committed with no mobility and full burst incoming.
- Save R for an all-in when her stun is on cooldown or she has already burned her combo on someone else.
