LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win this lane clearly at every level — your range advantage lets you stack your passive safely on minions and punish any Kayn Q approach with an immediate stun combo before he can proc his W sustain meaningfully.
- Post-6 you must respect Shadow Assassin Kayn's R engage, as he can enter from off-screen and burst you before your stun fires if you are caught without stacks ready.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to pre-stack your passive to 4 charges on minions, then threaten Kayn with auto-attack poke to force him to either back off or dash in — the moment he dashes in with Q, you immediately W-stun him and follow with Q for a full punish combo.
- Never trade without your stun available, as Kayn's W sustain will win extended trades if he can proc it freely.
Wave Control
- Slow-push the wave by last-hitting and letting the wave build, then crash it under his tower to deny him farm and roam timers — this also forces him to stand in a predictable position near the wave where you can stack your passive safely and threaten all-ins.
- Avoid hard-shoving early because a reset wave gives Kayn safe Q dashes through minions to close distance without taking poke.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not stand near the side walls of the mid lane, especially post-6 — Kayn's R allows him to enter through terrain and appear directly on top of you, bypassing your ability to react and stun him before he lands his combo.
- Always position toward the center of the lane so you have vision of his approach and time to react with your stun.
