Who Wins

  • Pre-6 you lose this lane clearly — LeBlanc's Q-W combo at level 2 or 3 will chunk you for a massive percentage of your HP, and your Q silence does not prevent her from completing her combo since W is already mid-dash when you cast it.
  • Your only goal before level 6 is to survive by staying at max range, using Q to reduce her poke damage when possible, and not overextending for CS that puts you in her W range.

How to Trade

  • Post-6 the matchup becomes much more manageable because your R gives you the mobility to dodge her E tether by blinking away before the 1.5-second root triggers, which is the key ability that enables her full combo — without the root landing, her burst is significantly reduced and you can look to trade back with your Q silence into W auto-attack pattern.
  • At level 11 with two R stacks available, you can start looking for short trades or all-ins if she has used her W offensively.

Wave Control

  • Your best trading pattern is to bait her W by standing just inside its range, then immediately R away as she dashes so her W lands on empty space — this wastes her primary damage tool and her escape mechanism simultaneously, leaving her vulnerable to your counter-engage.
  • Follow up with Q to silence her before she can reactivate W to return, then W auto-attack for the melee damage proc before backing off.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use your R reactively to escape after she has already landed E on you — the tether root will trigger regardless of where you blink to within its range, and you will have wasted your R cooldown while still getting rooted and taking her full combo.
  • Instead, use your R proactively the moment you see her E projectile leave her hand, blinking far enough that the tether breaks entirely before the root activates.
