Who Wins
- You lose pre-6 heavily due to Azir's range advantage and your inability to trade without taking significant minion damage and soldier poke.
- Post-6 you win 1v1s by using R to gap-close through his soldiers and following up with Q-E-W for burst while his Q silence prevents his escape.
How to Trade
- Your only viable pre-6 trading is Q-E when he positions aggressively, then immediately back off to avoid soldier retaliation.
- Post-6, look for R-Q-E-W combos when he's pushed up, using Q silence to prevent his E escape.
Wave Control
- Focus on farming safely and giving up CS when necessary pre-6, using Q to last-hit from range when possible.
- Let him push into you to farm safely near your tower, then look for all-in opportunities post-6 when he's extended.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't try to match his early push as you'll take too much poke and run out of mana quickly.
- Never R directly into his soldier line post-6 without Q ready, as he can E away and kite you if you don't silence him first.
