Who Wins

  • You lose level 2 all-ins due to Alistar's engage potential being stronger than your poke.
  • At level 6, you still lose hard engages but can kite better with Mantra E if Smolder has stacks.

Synergy & Trading

  • Poke with Q when Alistar is out of position, then shield Smolder when he trades back.
  • Use Mantra Q for waveclear or Mantra E for disengage when Alistar looks for combos.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • You should roam mid or jungle after shoving waves since you can't match Alistar's engage potential.
  • Optimal timings are after cannon waves or when Smolder has enough stacks to farm safely.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't waste Mantra E too early in trades as it's your only disengage tool against Alistar combos.
  • Standing too close to Smolder makes both of you vulnerable to Alistar's W-Q combo.
