Who Wins

  • You lose level 2 fights because Leona's engage is stronger than your R-Q poke, but you win level 6 trades with better sustained damage and shield utility.
  • Your R-E can negate much of their burst combo damage at level 6.

Synergy & Trading

  • Use R-Q when both enemies are lined up for maximum damage, then immediately R-E if Leona engages to mitigate their burst.
  • Follow Ezreal's Q poke with your own Q to chunk them before they can retaliate.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Roam mid after shoving waves when Leona recalls or when your ADC is safely farming under tower.
  • Optimal timing is after level 6 when your R-Q can secure kills and your R-E provides strong gank setup.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't waste R on Q poke when Leona has engage tools available, save it for defensive R-E usage.
  • Never stand in line with Ezreal against Caitlyn's Q or you'll both take unnecessary poke damage.
