Who Wins

  • Pre-6, Xayah outranges your rockets and her feathers enable sustained poke that you struggle to answer without overextending; Rakan's level 2 all-in with W is a genuine kill threat if you're caught without your E.
  • Post-6, your R gives you global pressure and your W slow can set up kills, but Xayah's R makes diving you suicidal and Rakan's CC chain still wins a straight 2v2 fight if they engage cleanly.

Synergy & Trading

  • You want to fish for a Rakan W misplay or a Xayah overextension, then root with your W and have Seraphine follow with her CC to extend the trade; never commit to a long trade without your E trap placed behind you as an escape tool.
  • Avoid extended auto-trade sequences because Xayah's passive feather return hits harder than your sustained DPS at most early-game item breakpoints.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Push the wave with Q rockets to force Xayah to farm under pressure, but switch to minigun when the wave is crashing to maximize CS efficiency under tower; do not let the wave freeze in front of their tower because that removes your escape routes and lets Rakan engage freely.
  • Use your E to deny Rakan dive angles when the wave is near your tower.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not stand still to charge your Q in a lane where Rakan can gap-close instantly — a stationary Jinx is a dead Jinx against this engage support.
  • Never use your R as a lane poke tool; save it for finishing low targets or cross-map plays after a won fight elsewhere.
