Who Wins

  • Pre-6 you lose trades due to Aphelios's superior range and weapon rotations, especially when he has Calibrum or Severum.
  • Post-6 you gain kill pressure with R execute potential, but Zilean's R makes all-ins risky unless you can bait it first.

Synergy & Trading

  • Use W to slow enemies for Lulu's Q follow-up, then switch to Pow-Pow for sustained DPS when they're slowed.
  • Focus on short trades with rocket poke rather than extended fights where Aphelios excels.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Push waves hard with rockets to deny Aphelios farm and force him under tower where his weapon management becomes awkward.
  • Avoid slow-pushing as Zilean can easily set up ganks with E speed-up on his jungler.

Mistakes to Avoid
