Who Wins
- You win pre-6 through consistent poke and range advantage, but lose post-6 all-ins if Renekton has fury and ultimate available.
- Your window closes significantly after level 6 unless you've built a substantial health lead through poke.
How to Trade
- Your trading pattern should focus on Q poke in ranged form followed by immediate repositioning, and only commit to melee form trades when Renekton has low fury or used his E.
- Use your E in ranged form to disengage when he gap closes, then re-engage with hammer form E-Q-W if he's low enough.
Wave Control
- Maintain slow pushes to keep the wave in the middle of the lane, giving you maximum poke opportunities while maintaining escape routes.
- Avoid hard shoving unless you can recall, as Renekton can freeze and force you into dangerous positions.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your ranged E defensively unless Renekton is already on top of you, as it's your primary disengage tool.
- Never trade in melee form when Renekton has high fury, as his empowered W will out-trade your hammer combo even with your resistances.
