LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you have a meaningful advantage at level 1 and 2 by poking with ranged Q-E before Pantheon has his full combo online, but once he hits level 3 with E stun, you must respect his all-in threat and keep distance or have your E ready to knock him back.
- Post-6, you win the extended 1v1 convincingly — your ability to swap forms, sustain with W, and disengage or re-engage with E gives you far more tools than Pantheon, who becomes predictable and easy to play around.
How to Trade
- You want to maintain ranged form dominance by landing Q-E poke to chip Pantheon's health below 60% before he can realistically all-in you, then switching to melee form only when he is low enough that your W-Q burst finishes him.
- If he does land his E stun, immediately use your melee E on recovery to create distance and reset back to ranged form — never let him dictate a sustained melee brawl.
Wave Control
- Slow-push or freeze the wave near your side to force Pantheon to walk up into your ranged poke range, denying him the ability to engage on his terms; a frozen wave also punishes his roam attempts since he loses CS and you can call for help.
- Avoid hard-shoving unless you are rotating, as a pushed wave gives Pantheon free roam windows with his R and removes the lane pressure you need to keep him contained.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not panic-swap to melee form when Pantheon engages — your E knockback in ranged form is your most important tool to deny his all-in, and swapping prematurely wastes it.
- Also avoid standing still to land your ranged Q-E combo when Pantheon is at full health with E available, as a well-timed engage through your projectile will result in a full stun-combo trade that you will lose.
