Who Wins
- You win levels 1-3 convincingly with your ranged advantage and poke damage, but Jax becomes significantly stronger at level 6 with Counterstrike and his ultimate's defensive stats.
- His all-in potential with R-W-Q combo will overpower your burst if he gets on top of you.
How to Trade
- You should poke with Shock Blast in cannon form, then switch to hammer form for Q-E combo when Jax uses Counterstrike or tries to engage.
- Always maintain distance and use your range advantage to whittle him down before he can gap close.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain a slow push or freeze near your tower to deny Jax farm while staying safe from ganks.
- Avoid hard shoving unless you can recall immediately, as Jax excels at setting up ganks in long lanes.
Mistakes to Avoid
- You must never fight Jax when his Counterstrike is active, as it will block your auto attacks and deal massive AoE damage when it ends.
- Don't waste your hammer form E (Thundering Blow) to disengage if Jax still has his Q available to follow up.
