LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win most extended trades and all-ins due to your range advantage and the burst combo of E+Q in cannon form; Gangplank has no reliable gap-close to punish you before he gets items, and his W removes your slows but not your damage.
- Post-6, your R gives you a global and a strong disengage tool, but Gangplank's R starts to shift map pressure significantly, and his barrel combos with Q deal serious burst if he lands them — you no longer auto-win trades if he has Sheen.
How to Trade
- Your best pattern is to poke with Q in cannon form to chip him down, then switch to hammer form to all-in with E+Q when he's around 60-70% HP; avoid extended melee trades because his passive crits and W cleanse will sustain him through your hammer combos.
- Never commit to a full trade without your E available, as it's your primary escape and engage tool.
Wave Control
- You want to shove the wave early to deny him barrel setup time and force him to last-hit under pressure; a pushed wave also limits his ability to stack barrels safely since he needs space to chain them.
- Once you have a lead, freezing near your tower is risky because his barrels can still hit you — keep the wave in a state where you can punish him for walking up.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not stand near barrels even briefly to 'tank' one hit — a barrel+Q crit with Sheen can delete 40-50% of your HP in one interaction, and you have no sustain to recover.
- Avoid using your E aggressively to close distance in melee form unless you are certain of the kill, because a missed all-in leaves you in melee range with no escape against a champion who can crit you repeatedly.
