LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win this matchup at every level — your ranged form gives you free poke with Q and auto-attacks, and Mundo has no reliable way to engage or trade back effectively before he has R.
- Post-6 the matchup becomes more volatile because R makes him nearly unkillable in extended fights, so your window to kill him shifts to catching him before he can activate R or when he's already used it and is on cooldown.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to stay in ranged form, use E to slow him and follow with Q to deal significant poke damage, then immediately disengage before he can close the gap.
- If he does get on top of you, switch to melee form and use E-Q knockback to create distance, then immediately swap back to ranged — never commit to a sustained melee fight against him.
Wave Control
- Keep the wave frozen near your side of the lane early to force Mundo to overextend to farm, making him vulnerable to your ranged poke and jungle ganks.
- Avoid letting him slow-push into your tower post-6 because a tanky Mundo under tower is difficult to punish and he will simply regenerate while the wave resets.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not get baited into melee form extended trades — Mundo's damage scales with how long the fight lasts, and your melee form is not designed for sustained dueling against a regenerating tank.
- Avoid wasting your E-Q combo on minions when Mundo is in a position to be hit, as it is your primary tool for both damage and self-peel and its cooldown is long enough to be punished.
