Who Wins
- You dominate levels 1-3 with superior range and burst damage from Q-E combo in ranged form plus melee form follow-up.
- At level 6, you still have the advantage but must respect Aatrox's all-in potential with R, requiring better positioning and kiting.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is Q-E poke in ranged form when Aatrox goes for CS, then switch to melee form for Q-W-E if he engages on you.
- Always auto-attack between abilities and use your range advantage to chunk him before he can retaliate meaningfully.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain a slow push or neutral wave state to keep the minion line in the middle, giving you maximum space to kite backwards.
- Avoid hard pushing unless you can recall, as being overextended makes you vulnerable to Aatrox's all-in with jungle assistance.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste your E knockback defensively too early, as it's crucial for escaping Aatrox's Q3 knockup and R engage.
- Never trade in melee form when Aatrox has his full combo available, as you'll lose the sustained fight without your ranged form kiting.
