Who Wins
- You lose early trades levels 1-3 due to Jayce's superior range and poke damage with Q in ranged form.
- At level 6, you gain significant kill pressure with R if you can land your Q combo, but Jayce still has the advantage if he maintains proper spacing.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to use E to close gaps when Jayce uses abilities on minions, then land Q1-Q2 combo before he can disengage.
- Always try to trade when your passive is up for the healing, and use W to slow him if he tries to kite backwards.
Wave Control
- You want to freeze the wave near your tower early to force Jayce into overextending for CS and poke.
- Push hard only when you have kill pressure or when Jayce backs, as being pushed up makes you vulnerable to his ranged harassment.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't waste E aggressively without your Q combo ready, as it's your only gap closer and you'll be kited to death.
