Who Wins
- You lose early trades levels 1-3 due to Yone's superior range and Q poke damage, but you can start winning all-ins at level 6 with R if you dodge his Q3 knockup.
- Your E becomes crucial for blocking his Q damage and auto attacks during extended fights.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trading pattern is to wait for Yone to use Q3 aggressively, then immediately Q onto him and activate E to block his follow-up damage while getting free autos.
- Always try to extend trades with W reset and chase with Q when your E stun lands, as short trades favor his poke.
Wave Control
- You want to freeze the wave near your tower early to force Yone to overextend for CS, making him vulnerable to jungle ganks and your Q-E engage.
- Avoid pushing unless you can crash a full wave, as Yone can easily poke you down when the wave is in the middle of the lane.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never waste your Q to gap close without having E ready, as Yone can easily disengage with E and poke you for free on the way out.
- Don't try to trade when your E is on cooldown, as you'll take too much damage from his Q spam and auto attacks without your defensive tool.
