Who Wins

  • You lose early trades pre-6 due to Xin's superior base damage and Q knockup combo, but can start winning extended fights around level 4-5 when you have multiple points in W.
  • Post-6 you win all-ins if you dodge his W slow with your Q and use R resistances properly during his burst window.

How to Trade

  • Use Q to gap close after he uses W, then immediately activate E to block his auto-Q combo while getting your W empowered auto off.
  • Disengage with E stun if he commits further, as short trades favor him while extended fights with your E active favor you.

Wave Control

  • Let him push early levels since you can't contest his wave clear or trades effectively, then freeze near your tower to force him to overextend for CS.
  • Once you hit 6 and have Sheen, you can start slow pushing to build up minions for all-in attempts.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't try to trade when your E is on cooldown, as Xin will simply auto-Q-auto you for free damage and potentially an all-in.
  • Avoid using Q aggressively without vision since Xin can easily set up ganks with his W slow and E gap closer if you're overextended.
