Who Wins
- You lose early trades pre-6 due to Kennen's range advantage and ability to proc Electrocute with Q-W-auto combos while kiting backwards.
- Post-6 you win all-ins if you can gap close with Q-R, as your sustained damage and defensive stats from R outscale his burst.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is Q onto him when he steps up for CS, immediately activate E to dodge his W proc and reduce incoming damage, then auto-W-auto before his stun lands.
- If he tries to kite with E, save your Q cooldown and disengage rather than chasing into his team's vision.
Wave Control
- Push early waves to hit level 6 first since you're stronger in extended fights, but be prepared to give up CS levels 3-5 when he has kill pressure.
- After 6, maintain slow pushes to create dive opportunities or freeze near your tower to force him to overextend for farm.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't use Q aggressively without E available, as Kennen can easily punish with Q-W-auto-E combo for massive damage and escape.
- Avoid chasing him through unwarded areas post-6, as his R can turn ganks into double kills for the enemy team.
