Who Wins
- You lose early trades levels 1-3 due to Garen's Q-E combo dealing more damage than your basic attacks.
- At level 6, you win the all-in if you use Counter Strike to dodge his spin damage and have Sheen for burst.
How to Trade
- You should trade with short auto-W-auto combos when Garen's Q is on cooldown, then immediately back off.
- Never extended trade while his E is spinning unless you have Counter Strike active to negate the damage.
Wave Control
- You want to freeze the wave near your tower early game to force Garen to overextend for CS.
- Once you have Sheen and levels, you can start slow pushing to build up minion advantages for trades.
Mistakes to Avoid
- You must never use Counter Strike defensively without purpose - wasting it means Garen gets a free Q-E combo on you.
