Who Wins

  • You win trades levels 1-3 with Q-E combos since Jax has no real trading tools yet.
  • At level 6, you lose all-ins if Jax has Counter Strike up and Sheen, as he can negate your E damage and out-DPS you.

How to Trade

  • You should trade with Q-E-W combos when Jax's Counter Strike is on cooldown, then use W to reduce his retaliation damage.
  • Always disengage immediately after your E ends to avoid extended trades where he can stack his passive.

Wave Control

  • You want to push waves early to deny Jax CS and force him under tower where he struggles to last hit.
  • After level 6, maintain wave control in the center to have room to run from his all-ins.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • You cannot waste your Q movement speed by using it on minions when Jax is nearby - you need it to gap close or escape.
  • Don't try to trade when your passive is down, as Jax will out-sustain you in extended fights without your health regeneration.
