- You lose pre-6 due to Aatrox's superior range, poke, and sustain advantage, making it difficult to farm safely or contest trades.
- Post-6 you become favored with items as your R provides enough tankiness to survive his burst while E negates his auto-attacks between abilities.
How to Trade
- You want to use Q on minions to gap close, then immediately E to avoid his Q knockups while getting guaranteed W proc damage.
- Only commit to extended trades when your E is available, as Aatrox will kite you effectively without your counterstrike active.
Wave Control
- You should focus on farming safely and giving up CS when necessary, looking to freeze waves near your tower where Aatrox cannot poke freely.
