Scuttle Contest

  • At level 3, you lose the scuttle fight against Warwick — his W passive healing and Q sustain mean he will simply outlast your E shield and Q root in a direct fight, and you have no damage to pressure him off.
  • From level 6, you still do not win a true 1v1 even with your R; Daisy provides knockback and distraction but Warwick's healing through W passive and Q will sustain through Daisy's damage, so avoid solo fights entirely and only contest objectives with laners present.

Predicted Jungle Path

  • Warwick will likely start top-side or bottom-side depending on matchup, but will path aggressively toward scuttle at level 3 and look to invade your jungle once he identifies your path — he clears fast and will be at full or near-full health due to his W passive.
  • Expect him to sit in your jungle and duel you if he finds you alone, as he has no reason to avoid you early given his overwhelming combat advantage.

Invade or Not

  • Do not invade Warwick at any point in the early game — you have no combat tools to fight him, and even with your Q root he will simply heal through your damage and kill you before the root expires.
  • Focus instead on claiming your camps safely with your Q from range and pathing away from him; use your superior gank utility to build a lead through your laners rather than through direct jungle pressure.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not try to 1v1 Warwick at any stage of the game without significant item advantages and your R available — a common mistake is thinking your Q root buys enough time to escape or win, but his W movement speed boost and Q gap-close mean he will re-engage immediately after the root ends.
  • Avoid being caught in the open river or in your own jungle without a nearby ally, as he will simply run you down and heal back any damage you deal.
