Who Wins

  • You struggle in pure stat-check trades early due to Ornn's base stats and W damage reduction, but can start winning around level 4-5 when you have full kit to stack passive efficiently.

How to Trade

  • Use Q on minions to stack passive while staying mobile, then look to engage when you have 4-5 stacks and Ornn uses W predictably - Q onto him during W animation to avoid the Brittle application.
  • If he Es after W, sidestep with your mobility and re-engage when his abilities are down with full passive stacks.

Wave Control

  • Let Ornn push early since you can't match his waveclear safely, then look to freeze and stack passive on the large minion wave near your tower.
  • This gives you opportunities to all-in with stacked passive while keeping the wave in a favorable position for extended trades.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Don't try to trade without passive stacks as you'll lose heavily to Ornn's base damage and W reduction - always prep stacks on minions first.
  • Avoid fighting in his minion wave where he can easily land W-E combo, and don't waste Q mobility on minions when Ornn has abilities up for engagement.
