Who Wins
- You win most trades pre-6 due to Q poke and W healing, but Yorick can match your sustain with Q healing and has better all-in potential with ghouls.
- Post-6 you become significantly stronger in extended fights where you can land E and use R, but Yorick's R creates split-push pressure that forces different win conditions.
How to Trade
- Look to land E on Yorick when he's farming, then immediately W the spirit and follow with Q to maximize damage while his ghouls are repositioning.
- Avoid extended trades when he has 3-4 ghouls up unless you can land E, as his sustained damage with ghouls and Q resets will outdamage your abilities.
Wave Control
- Push waves aggressively early to prevent Yorick from stacking graves, but be prepared to thin push or freeze when he gets Maiden as his split-push becomes unstoppable.
- You want to create opportunities for E lands in the middle of the lane rather than fighting in minion waves where his ghouls get additional value.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Don't fight Yorick in his W cage without landing E first, as you'll take massive damage from ghouls while being unable to reposition for optimal Q angles.
- Never ignore his Maiden post-6 even if you're ahead, as it will solo push lanes and create map pressure you can't match.
