LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Aurora's range and mobility let her poke you safely and disengage your E tentacle pulls, making the early lane difficult for you — level 3 matters only if you land E before she can W out, which she will often avoid.
- Post-6, your R fundamentally changes the matchup: if you land E and R inside your tentacle field, Aurora cannot safely W out without eating massive tentacle damage, giving you a decisive kill window.
How to Trade
- Your best trade is baiting her W repositioning near a tentacle, then immediately casting E to pull her spirit and following with Q and R — the key is that tentacles punish her W landing spot, so position yourself to make her W into danger rather than out of it.
Wave Control
- Shove the wave hard with Q to force Aurora to either take poke or lose CS under tower; a pushed wave also limits her roam threat and keeps tentacles spawning near the wall for extended fights.
- Avoid letting the wave freeze near her tower, as her range lets her safely farm while you take poke without meaningful trade access.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not commit your E on Aurora when she still has W available — she will simply reposition out of your spirit pull range and you will be left on cooldown with no follow-up, wasting your primary kill threat and leaving yourself vulnerable to her poke cycle.
