LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you are at a significant disadvantage because LeBlanc can close the gap with W and burst you before your slow-casting abilities can respond, and you have no mobility to escape or reposition.
- At level 3 she has E-W-Q available, which is enough to drop you to low HP or kill you if you are caught without minion cover.
- Post-6, you still lose the all-in if she lands E-R(E) on you, but you can survive and win extended fights if you keep distance, pre-aim your abilities at her likely landing spots, and force her to burn W before committing — she cannot sustain through your full combo if you land it cleanly.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to bait her W dash with a threatening position, then immediately retaliate with your full combo as she lands, since her W has a 4-second return window and she is committed to the trade once she dashes in.
- Use your longest-range abilities to poke her before she can engage, and try to keep minions between you and her to make E harder to land cleanly.
- If she uses W to engage and you have your abilities ready, you can deal significant damage before she returns — do not panic and run without casting.
Wave Control
- You want to play for a slow push or freeze near your side of the lane to deny LeBlanc the roam pressure she thrives on, since she is most dangerous when she can shove and leave.
- Keeping the wave frozen near your tower forces her to either dive you in a bad position or lose CS, and your zone-control abilities are more effective in a confined space near your tower where she has less room to maneuver.
- Avoid pushing the wave into her tower, as that gives her free roam time and puts you in a position where you have to match her or lose objectives.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not stand in predictable positions that make it easy for her to land E, because a rooted Hwei with no mobility is essentially a free kill for her post-6.
- Avoid using your abilities recklessly when she has W available, as she can simply dash away and return after your cooldowns are spent.
- Never try to all-in her near her own tower or in a position where her W return puts her to safety — you need open space and her W on cooldown to win an extended fight.
