Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win convincingly at every level spike — your turrets establish zone control that prevents her from safely farming, and your Q beam poke punishes any attempt to walk up for E.
- Post-6 the matchup becomes genuinely dangerous because her R tentacle burst can kill you in seconds if she lands E, so you must respect her all-in potential and never let her get a clean E hit when she has R available.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to place two turrets in a triangle formation around the wave, then use Q beam to poke her when she approaches last-hits — if she walks up aggressively, your W grenade slow combined with turret DPS creates a punishing combo that she cannot sustain through without burning her passive extensively.
- Never stand directly behind your turrets in a line; spread them so she cannot body-block or destroy them efficiently with her W.
Wave Control
- Freeze the wave near your turrets whenever possible — a freeze forces her to overextend into your turret zone to CS, and her lack of reliable gap-close means she will take sustained poke damage every time she tries to contest.
- If she shoves, reset your turrets immediately in a new defensive formation rather than letting her dictate spacing; your turret placement is your primary strategic tool and poor positioning wastes your entire kit.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your R offensively to try to kill her when she has E active on a spirit — her R during that window generates so many tentacle slams that your empowered turret or grenade will not save you, and you will die to the burst.
- Avoid standing in predictable positions near walls where tentacles can spawn behind you during her R, as that geometry dramatically increases her damage output.
