Scuttle Contest

  • At level 3, you lose the scuttle fight against Lee Sin if he lands his Q — his burst and early damage output significantly outpace yours before you have meaningful stacks or W sustain built up.
  • From level 6 onward, you can win a 1v1 if you force extended fights on open terrain where your Q spam and W healing can outlast his burst window, but only if he has already burned his W shield and E slow.

Predicted Jungle Path

  • Lee Sin most commonly opens Red side into Raptors into Blue or Wolves, then looks for an early gank or scuttle contest around 3:15–3:30; he may also start Blue side and mirror-path to contest your scuttle from the opposite side.
  • Expect him to be level 3 with full resources at scuttle timing and looking for aggressive plays rather than farming passively.

Invade or Not

  • You should generally avoid invading Lee Sin pre-level 6 — his Q-into-E-into-W combo at close range deals more burst than you can sustain through early, and he can disengage or counter-engage efficiently.
  • If you do invade, the safest window is after he has completed his first clear and is low on W charges (around 3:45–4:30), targeting his second buff camp when you have vision confirming his location.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not walk into Lee Sin's jungle in a straight line expecting your W to save you — he can Q you from range, close the gap instantly, and burst you before your W healing becomes meaningful.
  • Avoid overextending for scuttle when he has vision of you and full resources; respect his level 2 and 3 power spikes or you will give up first blood and lose early tempo entirely.
