LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Scuttle Contest
- At level 3 scuttle, you win this fight cleanly — your Q deals reliable damage on a short cooldown, your W sustain keeps you above the health threshold Kayn needs to all-in, and your movement speed makes it difficult for him to disengage.
- At level 6, you continue to win 1v1s by using E to interrupt his W channel and following up with Q spam; Kayn cannot out-sustain your W healing when you are consistently dealing damage through his attempts to trade.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Kayn will most likely start on the opposite side of the map from you and attempt a full clear to rush form transformation stacks, prioritizing ganks on champions he can hit with his E through walls.
- Expect him to avoid direct confrontation with you until he has a form, at which point Blue Kayn will seek extended fights and Red Kayn will look for pick angles using terrain.
Invade or Not
- You should invade Kayn at his second buff after your own full clear, ideally around the 3:15-3:45 window when you are level 3 and he may still be level 2 or finishing his clear.
- Target his Red Buff side if he started Blue, as catching him between camps with no escape route forces a fight he cannot win at that stage.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use E aggressively as an initiation tool without confirming Kayn is not near a wall — if he absorbs your knockback near terrain, he can immediately E through the wall to escape or reposition, negating your primary kill threat.
- Avoid letting the game go late without a significant gold lead, as a fully transformed Kayn with items outscales your mid-to-late game damage profile in extended skirmishes.
