LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose this lane unless you can force short trades with E dash and immediately disengage — Cassiopeia's range and poison uptime mean she wins any extended pre-6 trade where you are both standing still.
- Post-6, your W becomes a genuine game-changer because it blocks her R stun and most of her Q pokes, giving you a window to heal up and deal damage freely, but you still need to respect her range outside of W.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to wait for her to overextend or misposition, dash in with E, immediately place W on yourself, and look to proc your passive healing while she wastes spells into the mist.
- After W expires, disengage with your remaining E-empowered attacks rather than staying in the open where her poison stacks will kill you slowly.
Wave Control
- You want a slow, frozen or contested wave near your side of the lane — this keeps Cassiopeia close to you and reduces the open space she needs to kite you effectively.
- Avoid letting her shove freely because being stuck under tower with her poking from range is your worst-case scenario where you cannot safely engage or use W offensively.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use W reactively to dodge a single Q — save it for when you are fully committed to a trade and need to block her sustained poison damage and potential R stun, not as a panic button for one ability.
- Burning W early leaves you completely exposed to her full combo, and she will recognize the cooldown and immediately punish you.
