LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win most trades due to your burst pattern and the fact that Gwen's passive healing and extended fight tools haven't fully come online yet — at level 3 she gains her full kit but you still outdamage her short-term if you land your Q into a point-blank E dash for the shotgun blast.
- Post-6 the matchup becomes significantly harder because her R gives her a reliable long-range poke tool and her sustained damage with passive healing starts to outlast your burst windows.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to bait out her E dash, then immediately Q into her at close range to maximize pellet spread damage, follow with your E dash to reposition and deny her the extended fight she wants.
- Never let her auto you repeatedly after her E — her attack speed steroid and bonus magic damage per hit will shred you faster than your burst can finish her.
Wave Control
- Push the wave hard and consistently to deny her the slow, extended farm environment where her passive healing lets her recover between trades.
- Crashing waves and backing forces her into awkward all-in timings where she can't use her W safely without losing the wave, giving you breathing room to trade on your terms.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not walk into her W zone to chase her — she becomes untargetable from outside it and you will waste your entire burst rotation on nothing while she heals and repositions.
- Respecting her W as a hard reset button on trades is critical; if she pops it, disengage and reset rather than burning your cooldowns into the mist.
