LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win most trades if you land E into auto-W-auto because your W passive gives you significant sustain and your burst pattern outdamages his short trades; post-6, his R disrupts your all-in potential by repositioning him or his allies, and his barrel combos can delete you if you are low, so the matchup becomes more volatile and you need to respect his burst windows.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to wait for him to walk up to last-hit or place a barrel, then E in, auto-W-auto and back out with your passive sustain absorbing his retaliation; if you can body-slam onto his barrel before he detonates it, you deny his combo and simultaneously close the gap for free.
Wave Control
- You want to control the wave near your side of the lane to bait him into walking up for CS, giving you easier E angles; do not let him freely shove because a pushed wave forces you to farm under tower where your E engage is more predictable and he can Q poke you safely from range.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use E aggressively when your health is low enough that a single barrel chain from him can kill you, because his R can also be used to finish you off if you misposition after an E; overcommitting to a trade when he has R available and you do not is the most common way to die in this matchup.
