Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you win short trades at levels 1-3 by poking with Q and keeping Camille at range, since her W shield only activates on her own auto-attacks and she needs to close distance to deal damage.
  • Post-6, your R is a strong equalizer but Camille's E-R combination can negate it entirely — she can E away from your R knockback or use her own R to isolate you in a 1v1 cage, making extended fights post-6 heavily favor her.

How to Trade

  • Your best pattern is to poke with Q repeatedly to stack rage, then punish her E approach with W slow and a short trade before backing off — never let her land both hits of her W on you.
  • If you reach Mega Gnar during her E cooldown, you can force a full trade with W-E-R, but you must initiate the all-in on your terms, not hers.

Wave Control

  • Push the wave early to deny her from freely engaging under tower cover, as Camille struggles to all-in under tower pressure and your Q clears well.
  • In Mini Gnar, avoid freezing near her tower since she can dive you with E-R; instead, maintain a slow push or reset the wave to your side to force her to overextend.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not let your rage bar sit at maximum without a plan — untransformed Mega Gnar is a significant vulnerability window and Camille will look to punish you with an all-in the moment you transform back.
  • Never fight her when she has her E up and you are in Mini form, as she will gap-close through your W slow and out-trade you with her W true damage.
