LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win this lane clearly at every level — your W reduces his Q poke, your passive regen negates his harass over time, and your level 3 all-in with E into Q silence into auto-attacks is a genuine kill threat if Kassadin overextends.
- Post-6 the matchup flips significantly because his R gives him repeated engage-disengage that your kit cannot match, so you must have built a meaningful HP lead or kill pressure before that point.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to walk up aggressively to bait his Q, then immediately activate W before he can follow up with E, and respond with your own Q silence into E spin — his silence is short and your W reduces the damage enough that you win the exchange.
- Force him to either take repeated damage or burn summoner spells, and use your passive regen between trades to recover faster than he can poke you down.
Wave Control
- Slow-push the wave pre-6 to build a large minion wave that crashes into his tower, forcing him to stay and farm under pressure rather than roaming or playing safely at range.
- After the wave crashes, look for an aggressive all-in in the river or at his tower where his escape options are limited, since Kassadin pre-6 has no mobility to escape a committed Garen chase.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not let Kassadin reach level 6 with a comfortable HP total — if he hits 6 at full or near-full health, you lose your kill pressure and the lane becomes a slow attrition that favors him.
- Avoid chasing him into his jungle or deep into his side of the map post-6, as his R mobility will allow him to turn the chase into a kill on you with jungle assistance.
