LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose the ranged poke war — Cassiopeia will whittle you down with Q into E spam, and your W only mitigates some of that damage rather than negating it.
- Your only real spike is level 1 if you can immediately walk up and start your E spin before she establishes range control, but she will play back to deny this.
- Post-6, you still lose a straight 1v1 if she's played correctly, because her R executes you and her sustained E damage outdamages your R over a full fight.
How to Trade
- Your best trade pattern is to wait for her to misposition — ideally after she wastes Q and is on cooldown — then close the gap with Q's silence to stop her E spam, and immediately activate W before committing to your E spin.
- The silence window is critical: it's your only way to interrupt her damage output long enough to deal meaningful damage.
Wave Control
- You want to play a slow push or freeze pattern near your side of the lane to force her to walk up into melee range to last-hit, reducing her ability to safely poke you from distance.
- Freezing denies her the comfortable spacing she needs to Q-E repeatedly without consequence.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not walk into her Q range repeatedly trying to force trades — every time she lands Q and chains E casts on you, she's winning the attrition war and your passive regeneration cannot keep up with her sustained damage output.
- Chasing her when she's kiting you is how you die to a combination of E spam and R execution.
