LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you win this matchup through sustained poke: land Q to apply poison, then spam E repeatedly to chunk him down before he can close the gap.
- Garen has no ranged tools to retaliate, so as long as you respect his W's damage reduction and don't let him walk up freely, you control the lane.
- Post-6, you still win extended fights decisively — your R executes him when he's low, and your E spam outdamages his R if you keep him poisoned and kite properly.
How to Trade
- Your optimal trade pattern is to Q from max range to poison him, then immediately chain E casts to maximize damage while the poison is active — never let a poison tick go to waste.
- Avoid standing still to cast; keep moving laterally so his Q and auto-attacks miss, and only commit to extended trades when his W is on cooldown.
Wave Control
- You want to push the wave consistently to deny him the ability to walk up and trade, since he has no wave clear tool that outpaces your E spam on minions.
- Shoving him under tower also limits his ability to engage on you, and you can safely poke him through the wave with Q while he's forced to last-hit.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not let him close the gap and start his E spin — if he gets on top of you while his W is active, you lose that trade hard because your E requires a poisoned target and you need distance to function.
- Never stand in a position where a single Q from him starts a melee exchange you can't escape from.
