LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose this lane — Syndra outranges you, her Q-E combo will consistently poke you down, and your W removes the stun but not the damage already dealt, so trading is net negative for you early.
- Post-6, your R gives you map-wide impact to compensate for a losing lane, and your barrel damage with Sheen or Tri-Force starts threatening her if she overextends, but you are not winning a straight 1v1 against her unless she mispositions badly.
How to Trade
- Your best trading pattern is to pre-place a barrel at max range, bait her into walking near it, then detonate it with a second barrel chain while she's focused on last-hitting — this is the only way to deal meaningful damage without walking into her Q-E range.
- If she steps on a barrel and takes the burst, follow up with an auto-attack to proc your passive, but immediately disengage rather than committing to a full trade where her stun will punish you.
Wave Control
- You need to control the wave by using barrels to last-hit efficiently and build gold for your items, as your power spikes are entirely item-dependent — prioritize Sheen rush and use barrel detonations to clear waves quickly so you can back safely and deny her free poke on a slow-pushing wave.
- Do not let her shove you under tower for extended periods without using your R to impact other lanes, as sitting under tower while she pokes you is a losing proposition.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use W reactively after her E stun has already landed — W removes CC but the stun has already done its job of locking you in place for her follow-up damage, so you've wasted your W for minimal benefit.
- Avoid placing barrels in predictable patterns directly on top of minions when she has E available, as she can E the sphere into your barrel location to stun you and simultaneously deny your setup.
