Who Wins
- You win levels 1-3 through Q poke and passive trades, as your range advantage and magic shield from W prevent Briar from getting meaningful all-ins.
- At level 6, you still have the advantage since your R provides global presence while Briar's R can be interrupted by your W taunt.
How to Trade
- You should trade with Q poke followed by passive auto when Briar goes for CS, then immediately back off to avoid her gap closers.
- Never extend trades beyond your Q-passive combo unless you have W ready to mitigate her damage and CC her.
Wave Control
- You want to maintain a slow push or neutral wave state to deny Briar roaming opportunities while using your waveclear advantage.
- Avoid hard shoving unless you can immediately roam with R, as this gives Briar free recall timings.
Mistakes to Avoid
- You must never use W defensively when Briar has her E available, as she can easily walk out of the taunt radius and re-engage.
- Don't waste R on obvious plays when Briar is missing, as she excels at punishing immobile targets during your ultimate's long animation.
