Who Wins
- You lose levels 1-3 due to Galio's range advantage and your inability to stick to him through his W, but you gain kill pressure at level 6 when your R allows you to bypass his defensive tools.
- Your all-in potential becomes significantly stronger once you have access to your ultimate's untargetability.
How to Trade
- You should look for short trades using E to gap close, then immediately disengage before Galio can respond with W-Q combo.
- Only commit to extended trades when Galio's W is on cooldown or when you have R available to avoid his taunt.
Wave Control
- You need to freeze the wave near your tower to force Galio into dangerous positions when he tries to poke or clear.
- Push hard only when you can immediately roam to side lanes, as your mobility advantage allows you to impact the map faster than Galio can follow.
Mistakes to Avoid
- You cannot engage when Galio has both W and flash available, as he can easily escape or turn the fight with his taunt into Q combo.
- Don't use R predictably when he has vision of you, as good Galio players will save W to interrupt your ultimate and leave you vulnerable.
