Who Wins

  • Pre-6, you win most extended trades due to your mobility and E making you untargetable, but Fiddlesticks' W drain sustain means short trades where he gets W off are not in your favor — you need to commit to full trades or disengage cleanly.
  • Post-6, you have a clear kill threat with R onto a squishy, immobile target, and Fiddlesticks has no reliable way to escape or dodge your R once you're in range.

How to Trade

  • Your best pattern is to bait out his W by walking up, then immediately E onto him to dodge the drain and proc your passive damage, following up with Q to stick and auto-attack before resetting with E's second hop.
  • Avoid letting him channel W on you for more than 1–2 seconds, as the drain will negate your burst advantage.

Wave Control

  • You want to shove the wave quickly early to deny him safe farming under tower pressure, since Fiddlesticks has poor wave clear pre-6 and struggles to last-hit under pressure without taking poke.
  • After shoving, roam aggressively — your R is far more impactful in side skirmishes than sitting in a lane where he can play safe and sustain.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use E purely as a dodge tool and then find yourself on cooldown with no escape when he has jungle backup, as E is also your only reliable gap-closer and escape — burning it reactively leaves you exposed.
  • Also avoid fighting him in the river or near his jungle where his R setup from fog of war becomes a real threat even in a winning lane state.
