LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, you lose this matchup clearly — Fizz's E makes your W drain unreliable, your Q fear requires him to stand still, and you have no mobility to escape his all-in.
- Post-6, you still lose a straight 1v1 because Fizz's R burst into E untargetability lets him dodge your R's initial fear zone or simply kill you before your channel matters.
How to Trade
- Your best pattern is to land Q fear first to lock him in place, then immediately channel W on him during the fear duration, as this is the only window where he cannot E away from your drain.
- Outside of that window, avoid extended trades — poke with E and retreat, since standing in melee range of Fizz without fear up is a losing proposition.
Wave Control
- You want to play a slow, passive wave strategy — let the wave push toward you so you farm safely under tower where Fizz's all-in is riskier and your W drain is harder to punish.
- Do not shove the wave out, as that gives Fizz a free reset to roam or dive you when the wave bounces back.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not attempt to channel R in a position where Fizz can simply walk out of the crow landing zone or E through it, as your R requires setup and a stationary target to be effective — using it reactively in a 1v1 is almost always wasted.
- Avoid standing in isolated positions without vision, not because Fizz will gank you, but because your only win condition in this lane is surviving to be relevant through your jungle's assistance.
