Who Wins

  • Pre-6, Draven + Blitzcrank wins the 2v2 decisively — Draven's level 1 auto damage with spinning axes combined with Blitzcrank's level 2 Q threat means you cannot contest the wave safely without risking a lethal all-in.
  • Post-6, the matchup remains dangerous because your R has limited kill pressure on a duo that can still burst you through your E if you're caught, but you gain more safety through poke and disengage.

Synergy & Trading

  • Your best trading pattern is to use Q to poke from max range while staying outside Blitzcrank's Q range at all times — if Blitzcrank lands a hook, you die regardless of how much poke you've accumulated.
  • Only use E offensively to reposition for a Q angle, never to close distance, as closing distance into Draven's axes is a losing trade every time.

Wave Control/Roaming

  • Push the wave consistently with Q to deny Draven his preferred slow-push setup and to reduce the time you spend in Blitzcrank's hook range near the minion cluster.
  • A fast-pushed wave under their tower limits Blitzcrank's hook angles and forces Draven to choose between farming and fighting.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not use E reactively after a Blitzcrank hook lands — by the time the hook connects, your E will not save you from the follow-up W knock-up and Draven burst.
  • Save E as a pre-emptive dodge tool when you see Blitzcrank winding up, not as an escape after the fact.
