LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Who Wins
- Pre-6, Zilean's Q poke and W slow/stun combo gives him consistent harass that you struggle to match without landing your Q first; post-6, your R fundamentally shifts the matchup since Zilean's R counters your burst but your R resets let you bait it out and re-engage on your own terms.
How to Trade
- Your best trade pattern is to use Q to proc your passive shield before engaging, then E through Zilean to proc the empowered auto, and immediately back out — never commit to a full all-in pre-6 because his W double-cast will stun you in place and he can follow up freely.
Wave Control
- You want to shove the wave consistently using Q on minions to force Zilean to either take poke or lose CS, then look to roam since your E mobility makes you one of the best roamers in the game and Zilean's wave clear is slow enough that he cannot follow effectively.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not walk up aggressively when Zilean has both W charges ready — getting stunned in the middle of the lane with no passive shield active is a death sentence, especially if he has his jungler nearby or has already used R on himself.
