Scuttle Contest

  • At level 3, you win the scuttle fight against Nasus due to your burst combo (Q into E shield into W) dealing significantly more damage than Nasus can output without stacks; Nasus has no reliable gap-close to stick to you if you disengage with E.
  • From level 6, you win the 1v1 only if you engage when Nasus is below roughly 60% HP, as his W slows your attack speed and his passive sustain combined with growing Q stacks means a prolonged fight heavily favors him — burst him down before he can stack W and outsustain your damage.

Predicted Jungle Path

  • Nasus jungle typically runs a standard full clear starting at a buff (usually red side for the slow synergy with Q), then clears into the opposite buff, prioritizing scuttle and looking to farm camps safely rather than invade; he is not a skirmish-focused jungler early and will avoid early fights to stack Q.
  • Expect him to path toward objectives and counter-jungle only when he has a significant level or stack advantage, and to spend most of the early game farming camps and stacking Q on large monsters.

Invade or Not

  • You should invade Nasus early (level 2–3) at his second buff camp, as he has almost no dueling power before stacks and no mobility to escape; catching him on his second clear camp before he finishes it denies both stacks and experience.
  • However, do not invade past level 6 without vision advantage, as a stacked Nasus with W active can slow your attack speed and outlast your burst if you misjudge his HP or stack count.

Mistakes to Avoid

  • Do not let fights go long — your biggest mistake is engaging Nasus at full HP in the mid-to-late game expecting your burst to one-shot him, as his W halves your attack speed and his passive sustain can recover significant HP between your ability rotations.
  • Avoid wasting your combo on a healthy Nasus without follow-up from teammates, because if your burst doesn't finish him, you lose the extended trade almost every time.
