LaneDiff costs me $50/month to run. If it helped you win a lane, a small tip keeps it alive. 💙

Scuttle Contest
- At level 3, you win the scuttle fight against Ambessa only if you land your E pull before she can dash away — if she gets to play her Q freely around you, she will shred your HP before your passive stacks reach 5.
- From level 6, your sure win condition is landing E to interrupt her dash pattern, immediately W-slowing her to prevent escape, and letting your passive stack to 5 for the R execute — she cannot survive a full passive stack into R if she is caught without a dash available.
Predicted Jungle Path
- Ambessa jungle typically starts Blue side (Blue > Gromp > Wolves) or Red side (Red > Krugs > Raptors) and looks to hit level 3 fast to contest scuttle with her high burst damage.
- She will path aggressively toward early skirmishes and look to invade or counter-jungle because her Q mobility makes her extremely dangerous in isolated 1v1 jungle encounters.
Invade or Not
- You should not proactively invade Ambessa in her jungle because her Q dashes allow her to disengage or reposition faster than you can chase, and without landing E you deal very little damage in a short skirmish.
- Instead, set up a counter-gank or wait for her to overextend in a gank where she burns her Q dashes on the laner — that is when you can collapse and land your E on a cooldown-limited target.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not attempt to fight Ambessa if your E is on cooldown — without the pull, she will simply dash through and around you, preventing passive stacks from building while dealing consistent burst damage.
- Avoid using W offensively as an opener; save it to slow her after landing E so she cannot escape before your passive reaches 5 stacks.
