Who Wins
- Pre-6 you are vulnerable to Renekton's level 2 and 3 all-ins because his E-W-Q-E combo deals significant burst before you can stack enough E casts to respond; respect his early aggression and play for poke rather than trades until you have enough mana and levels to sustain a longer exchange.
- Post-6 you win decisively — your R hard-counters his engage pattern, and your sustained E spam with W poison uptime will kill him in any extended fight where he cannot escape.
How to Trade
- Your best pattern is to maintain max range, apply W poison, and spam E repeatedly while he is poisoned, never letting him close the gap without the threat of your R ready to punish his dash; if he commits with E, immediately turn to face him and R to stun him, then continue E spam on the poisoned target.
- Avoid trading at melee range where his W stun and Q healing give him a structural advantage you cannot overcome.
Wave Control
- Let the wave push slightly toward you early so you can farm safely under tower pressure and avoid his all-in range; once you hit level 6 and have some AP, you can start pushing back and using the wave as a tool to zone him.
- Do not shove blindly into his side early — a pushed wave means you are closer to him with no escape tool if he engages.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use your R reactively as a panic button when he is already inside your hitbox — by the time he has dashed onto you, the stun may not save you if you are already in his W.
- Instead, pre-position your R anticipating his E path so the stun lands cleanly and you maintain distance to continue E spam safely.
