Who Wins
- Pre-6 you win trades through superior range and Nami's sustain, but Mel's W can reflect your Q poke back at you.
- Post-6 the matchup becomes more dangerous as Veigar's cage combos with Mel's E root, and her R can execute you if you're caught.
Synergy & Trading
- Auto-attack Mel when she uses Q for waveclear, then immediately back off before Veigar can follow up with W-Q combo.
- Use your range advantage to poke consistently but save your Q for when Mel's W is on cooldown to avoid reflection damage.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push waves hard early to deny Veigar stacks and force Mel to use Q for waveclear instead of poke.
- Maintain minion advantage to make their all-ins less threatening and create opportunities for Nami to land Q bubbles.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Never use Q when Mel's W barrier is active as the reflected damage will chunk you significantly.
