Who Wins
- Pre-6, Samira + Alistar win most 2v2 exchanges because Alistar's level 2 W+Q combo forces you into reactive positioning and Samira can dash onto Xayah to negate your poke setup.
- Post-6, your R provides enough AoE threat that a full engage from Alistar becomes extremely risky, shifting the kill pressure back toward your side if Xayah has her R available.
Synergy & Trading
- Your best trading pattern is to land E on Alistar or Samira first to apply the stun setup, then follow with Q into W for the full combo — never open with W hoping to land Q after, as Samira's dash or Alistar's CC will interrupt your chain.
- Coordinate with Xayah so her feathers are already placed before you commit to a full combo, maximizing the window where the enemy is stunned and rooted.
Wave Control/Roaming
- Push the wave consistently with W to deny Samira passive stacks from farming under pressure, since she thrives in chaotic, extended skirmishes and a slow wave gives Alistar more time to set up engages.
- Avoid freezing near your tower because Alistar can tower-dive you at level 6 with relative safety given his ult's damage reduction.
Mistakes to Avoid
- Do not use Q as your engage tool into Alistar — if he absorbs it with his body before reaching you, your entire combo falls apart and you are left with no CC against a full Alistar engage.
- Respect Alistar's level 2 spike aggressively; if you are caught out of position at that moment, you will burn Flash or die before you can respond.
